Why Venus?
We chose Venus, because she represents beauty with a story. The classical Venus de Milo — discovered already without arms — has fascinated for two centuries precisely because of what is missing. Her “incompleteness” has become a sign of strength, not weakness. It is beauty that has stood the test of time — beauty marked by life.
In our interpretation, Venus becomes the “Recovered Venus” — a symbol of patients who regain agency, comfort, and the right to make informed decisions.
This symbol gives the Gala its unique identity: profound, emotional, and at the same time modern and fully aligned with medical standards.
